Project Objective
We had to create working drawings according to the sample project for redevelopment purpose.
Client Summary
The client in contact is a qualified and veteran Architect with around 20+ years’ experience in Architectural Practice. We completed this project for a Local Architectural firm in UK, who wanted a quick turnaround on one of his Construction Drawing project.
Project Summary
The client had provided us with the pdf and dwg files created from revit model. They also provided us with a pdf and dwg of a sample project. We had created working drawings and the following sheets were produced within a short turnaround time of 3-4 working days.

After the successful completion of creating working drawings for one warehouse, we are in the process of receiving more warehouse project with similar requirements. The client was contented with the quality of work and the technical expertise which we showcased while working on their project.

Challenges
- The input pdfs and dwg files of the project to be worked upon were not matching.
- The scale of the master project was comparatively much bigger than the sample file provided to us by the client. This created a lot of tenuous work for the master project.
- There were no columns shown properly in the design drawings, we had to update the layout as per the building design and technical requirements.
- The sections and elevations we had for the project were just exported from the input Revit model. We had to detail them out based on the design changes and requirements as per the sample project.
- The wall types in the sample project and the main project varied at some instances. This variation created a discrepancy while working on the construction details and it took us a longer time to understand and complete it on our own.
- At a mid-stage of the process, we were asked to add in more details to the drawings which were not a part of the scope earlier. This resulted in more work however, the deadline continued to be the same.
- We had minimum inputs, no particular standards defined and this situation indicated frequent progress dispatches, discussion and mark ups for further detailing.
